Trolling

I am intrigued by the number of people who troll and manage to maintain, to some extent, separate personas. Occasionally the mask slips and traits reappear and they are outed. I have an image of a wall with colour coded post-it notes with the biogs for each username that trolls use.

What is the motivation - narcissism, boredom, something else?

It's hard to say what a trolls motivation is, but I'd guess loneliness, frustration, anger, boredom perhaps

PP To some extent echo Blackadder, my JMB English 'O' levels in Lang. and Lit. expected high levels of grammar - I think you mean today's crop of 16 yr. olds (don't blame the teachers, I taught grammar until forced to give up my one lesson a week).
