Each house does not have its own postcode, it can be for a group of houses.

As it says on the internet "A full postcode is known as a "postcode unit" and designates an area with a number of addresses"
I used to live in a close with 10 houses, we all had the same post code.
High rise flats usually all have the same postcode.

This should allow you to check.
There are more than 60 of us here who all have the same postcode, all separate houses. Its perfectly possible.
Just type the address into Google search box and it will come back with the postcode.
