Not really, you can always find an "ologist" to back up any point of view. So the Bush haters have found one that backs up theres big deal!

I notice there's no mention of this professor having actually met Bush or even carried out personal evaluations over any significant period.

I guess then, that having studied the wise words of, say, Prince Phillip, I can emphatically say (and without fear of contradiction) that he hates all foreigners and is only a short step away from convincing the Queen to get control of our nuclear weapons in order to keep the Corgis safe.

no much... this guy wants to make lots of money from his book, if he had called it "George is a bit odd, but actually quite a nice chap" it wouldn't have sold many.

And as anside I think most powerful men must have some Megalomaniac tendencies � otherwise they wouldn�t do the jobs / have the positions they do, know i certainly wouldn't want too. so maybe its just something to expect from the leaders of the world and why we have constitutions and law to control them as much as they control the citizens

A reputable psychologist/psychotherapist would not diagnose without a personal consultation, nor would they publicise case histories of named clients/patients.

I do find it disturbing, but there is nothing new about certain papers publishing a disturbing version of non-stories. Much as I disagree with much of what Bush has done, I hope to have given the facts a little more considerstion than the editor of the Mirror seems to have done.

Yes I do find the Mirror disturbing.

No lessons were learned from Piers Morgan debacle. However, a 'We Were Hoaxed' headline is unlikely to follow with what is ultimately subjective opinion.

Didn't bother opening the link, but would just say to jno, you might need to explain your theory of president's being above the law to both Richard M. Nixon (difficult, since he's dead) and William Jefferson Blythe Clinton. Seems they were both taken to task for law breaking... (Perhaps, as sometimes is the case, your tongue was firmly implanted within your usually witty cheek!)

Although I wouldnt doubt much of what the psychologist stated about Bush (yes I am a Bush hater, so? I'm not buying his book), it all sounds a bit dramatic. The more outrageous he makes the Pres. sound, the more public attention he and his book will get.

I don't trust many of these psychologists as most of them end up on the Oprah show analyzing the celebs and other famous, important people...
