No I am Russian by desent although I was not born there. Oh thanks then for the complement Craig007 only I think Maria Sharapova is quite unattractive you see. My surname is actually Russian I think although I understand what you are saying about the W maybe it comes from Belarus or another former Soviet Union country.

Forgot to explain that Sharapova is of Belarussian desent and she does not deny that her surname is NOT a Russian one as the ending is pronounced vuh not vah like mine. She was born there but has not lived there since she was 6 so she is not REALLY Russian.
