Nick Clegg reckons that the lib dems will be in a coalition come May is he that delusional? The Lib Dems are a dead party walking?

Mickey, I dont think any party would have considered a coalition prior to the 2010 election. But times have changed, especially in politics, the smaller parties are starting to drag, kicking and screaming labour and Tories into wider thinking.

At this present moment in time I would not put any money anywhere.

in 1974 the margins were similar. but labour nevertheless formed a minority administration. granted it never had a future, but it did give labour time to get their act together.

October 1974 was not at all similar. Labour actually won a majority, just a very small one. The survived on their own until 1977 when a by election defeat left them with no majority. They reached a pact with the Liberals, that meant the Government survived another 18 months.

The nearest idealistic party to UKIP in my opinion is the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei & we do not want any of that thank you very much.

As required for a coalition, Tories and then the Unionists, then Plaid Cymru, then Liberals, then UKIP or possibly SNP though I see that as being improbable. I'll stick my neck out and say Tory by 5 to 10 seats as I think things will polarise as May comes around.

Labour, SDP, then SNP then Libs.
