I think it could be La Gomera, off the west coast of Tenerife. It looked like that from the beach when we were on the Costa Adeje last year.

Lanza Grotty has black sand but it was white when it drifted under my ground floor apt front door during a Hurricane in Fuerte Ventura. :-)

When I first seen this ad I thought it was Lobos Island. But the island in the ad is very craggy and covers a large area.
Lobos is more or less flat on top from any angle, and isn't anywhere near as big as the island in the ad.
Been there on a catamaran ... amazing place!

Unless my memory and my camera deceive me, I still say it's la Gomera. The sand on the beach of the island is normal yellow stuff in that area.
