Metal Poppy Stand

Ive just received my lovely tower poppy and have been looking at the various things available to display them.
One which I particularly like is a very plain, modern looking metal stand for £19 or thereabouts. Has anyone here got one of these stands, and if so are you pleased with it, I'm thinking particularly how safe and sturdy it is?

Have a look at incense burners. I have just ordered two, one for my Mum and one for me. I don't like the modern "pipe" stands, and wanted something older and more traditional looking. Result was a 30cm high carved wooden tower. It should be ok as it's the same height as the pipe poppy holder.

Lucky you eth. My two poppies are STILL to be delivered. They've been sitting at the Gatwick depot since Saturday and I live only 25 miles from Gatters. What's the delay? Oh , I know... they're being delivered, or NON delivered, by Yodel !

I feel your pain, jan. Yodel let us down a number of times over the delivery time/date. Worth the wait though, hope yours arrives soon.
Peachybabe, that's a good idea although for me personally I prefer something more contemporary. Have just ordered the metal stand.

Thanks Eth. This is my third day of waiting in for delivery. I've been on to Yodel 6 times and each time I've been promised that they're in their way. I just traced again online and according to their blurb, my poppies are STILL at the Gatwick Depot and will be sent out "before the end of Feb". !! Great. !

Jan, do you want the email address of the MD of Yodel? My husband has had a number of exchanges with him/his office over this delivery debacle and the MD reckons he welcomes feedback.
