Is it yours?
Is it UK
Have you told DVLA?
Is it their error or yours?
Was it wrong in 2012 when you were trying to get it back or is it just the new one that's wrong?

Either get the DVLA to contact you about it by entering your name & email address here:
https://emaildvla.direct.gov.uk/emaildvla/cegemail/dvla/en/driver_1_2_1.html
or change it online here:
https://www.gov.uk/change-address-driving-licence
(That needs a Government Gateway ID. If you're self-employed, or have claimed benefits such as JSA, you've probably got a Government Gateway ID already. Otherwise you might prefer to deal directly with the DVLA because getting a Government Gateway ID means having to wait until they post it to you).
If it has the wrong post code it is NOT 'correct in every way' you need to get it changed. It has an incorrect address.
isnt there a bit where you fill it out and send it away
and get the post code correct

very common apparently - the driving licence doesnt fit the driver esp over long surnames - Twistleton-Wickham-Fiennes going around just as Fiennes
