Sore Skin after swimming
My 5 year old suffers with a rash after swimming. His face is very red and dry. I have tried aloe vera but this only helps a bit. any ideas?

I have seen people that are allergic to the chlorine in the water - and it had the same sort of affect you describe, just found this thread http://www.allergymagazine.com/features/2005/oct/chlorine.html

A lot of people with sensitive skin suffer irritation after swimming because of the chemicals in the water and the first point is to ensure a thorough shower down immediately afterwards to ensure that any residue is washed off rather than drying on the skin. E 45 is a good all-round cream but Johnson's baby oil might also help. I would also mention it to the pool people as somebody might have been a little heavy handed when adding the chemicals, unless they are added automatically.
