I have had this plant for nearly a year. After flowering it seemed dormant for the last 7 months, now its producing shoots but low down on the branches, it's 2ft high. Should I prune it back
I had one of those and I was told as soon as it dies off to cut it back so I did right down to the bottom and it never grew back! I loved it too. but i think you have to cut it just at the first joint below the flowers if it helps.
If you're referring to the old flower stems being 2 feet high then yes.....cut them as far down to the base as you can.
Keep feeding the orchid and hopefully it will flower again. I've never kept any plant which has flowered for so long.....mine was in full flower for at least a year.
