Who Contacts Insurance Company First After Accident?
Other half ran into another car - nothing particularly bad, he dented the other car and it had a scratch and there's a scratch on our car.
Never gone through this before and wondered is he meant to get in touch with his insurers first or wait until she contacts hers and they move things on?
Anything else we need to think of?

You should always inform your Insurance Provider with details of any accidents, however minor. They will always for details of these when you come to renew your policy. It only takes someone to report it to their insurers to get one over on you and you are up the creek!
