Have you asked your GP?
Do you really means discs or as I assume to be more likely..vertebrae?

One can shatter a vertebra, but i have never heard of a disc "shattered."

I am a little confused.
Depends on which type of yoga. Have you thought of tai chi? It's very gentle but very good for balance etc etc

Hi sqad, sorry to confuse you I would have meant vertebra I think..It is after the fall I had in toe shower 15 months ago... hit my back on a brick wall..with the shower metal hose between shoulder blades. Thankyou Brenda
Hi Brenda....ah! ....that makes all the difference.

I would certainly advice Yoga by an experienced teacher in the management of muscle spasm with someone who has damaged vertebral bodies.
Studies seem to indicate a beneficial result.

Perhaps i was rather pedantic. but advising someone with a damaged or protruding intervertebral disc, might make the situation worse.

Hi again sqad, Many thanks for your reply. I will look for a class near by...if anything can improve the pain then it is worth it...Oh and by the way I did mean "The" shower not toe.! lol .Brenda xx
When I had my back problem,my GP suggested Clinical Pilates. My local physio runs classes in this.My back is fine now
