Would You Consider Doing This?

Given that we've all got cards for banks/office/library/travel with the attendant issues of remembering password/pin numbers/etc, would you be willing to take this step... Or would the thought of the "powers that be" keeping track of you through your chip put you off.
I personally think it is fraught with many dangers, ie what happens if you change job/house/country of residence? Seems to be a step to far in our connected world.

Of course I'd not consider doing that. Those early adopters are creating a rod for the rest of the community. A gimmick today becomes an obligation tomorrow. The very idea is repugnant. I am not a chip, I am an individual. And that's before analysing practical reasons to back up the inevitable disgust of the idea. It's not a step too far, it compares better to a trip abroad too far.
