picture hosting question

I have recently discovered the pitfalls of various sites like webshots etc.. whereupon links to peoples picture folders are freely available over the net by searching key names into google etc etc..

Does anyone know of a picture hosting service that remains completely private and only accessible via a published link to the people who i invite to see it?

I am part of a forum/community that meets regularly and likes to share the photos that are taken. I really don't want these pictures shared with the world for all to see.. not because they are offensive or anything like that but just to preserve a bit of privacy.

Any advice welcome.
