So many places use the dreaded and awful Twinings . I never use Twinings and tea must always be served in a cup not a mug.
I only drink tea at other peoples houses because no one can get my coffee right.
I'm seriously off tea altogether these days, it seems sickly and tasteless or way too strong most of the time.
When I visit parents, their drinks and cooking are always good. Apart from their, mine is the next best! Specially the Saturday cuppa I have just had :-)
*there
Don't find it a huge problem but I am a bit of a snob with tea at home.....not who makes it but it must be the right tea, Naafi blend if and when I can get my hands on it or Yorkshire tea is the only other blend I enjoy, don't mind who makes it
I agree with Divebuddy, Starbucks coffee is ghastly stuff!
I make the exception for Earl Grey though! Enjoy a cup of that in the afternoon with a dash of skimmed milk.
Yorkshire tea is the best as it is stronger. Cant bear weak tea, must be the Irish in me they say.

A cup of tea never ever ever tastes good, hate it, not had one for years.
Absolutely! If we're going away and staying in a hotel I take our own supply but because of different water it doesn't always taste like home. A few years ago, staying in Paris,I ordered a cuppa which arrived looking like dishwater and the guy looked at me in amazement when I went and asked for another teabag,in fact he gave me two, so bagged one for next time
