No Connection

I have a pc and a laptop that is networked to it. All signs on the l/top are that it is connected,but I can't get on line .Any ideas please?

It could have been a dual problem, with both the router and the laptop. Now that you've fixed the router problem, try another reset of the laptop's TCP/IP stack. It might just work.
Also try connecting the laptop to the router via an ethernet cable. That way you'll be able to see whether it's just a wireless connection problem or something else.

If you can't connect to the internet either wirelessly or via an ethernet cable then it sounds like the network adapter driver is corrupt.
Using your desktop, go to the website of the laptop's manufacturer, find the support section, locate the network adapter driver's set-up file and download it to a USB stick. Use that to copy the file to your laptop and then run it. Restart your laptop and cross your fingers!
