I rather think that if a Muslim lady, dressed however she wanted, had turned up at any church in UK on any day she chose, she would have been welcomed to look around and ask questions by whoever was there. Obviously there are some isolated churches which are locked against burglars, but generally speaking there would be no problem. Mosques should be open to all at any time on the same basis.
Please excuse my cynicism but the good Immans have a lot of bridges to build before they can entice me to come in for a cosy chat with tea and biscuits. Some of these friendly fellows were enticing their flock to spread the word of jihad and that is why this country is now on a severe security alert . I am sure the family's of the victims in Paris are not, at the moment, feeling any bonne homme with the local Immans in Paris even though some of the victims were Muslim. I never notice any thugs barring anyone to enter a Christian place of worship either. Perhaps those who choose to take up this generous invitation to enter their holy of holys in this country could enquire of these holy men why Christians and muslims are not invited to a Christian place of worship in downtown Kabul or Basra!!
