Had some bottles of the real stuff from the continent the other day. Mmmm a real taste yesteryear when stella was imported into the UK. How the hell they (stella) get away with selling the cats p/ss thats brewed here I'll never know. Does anyone know where I could buy the genuine imported stuff in Glasgow? or anywhere else for that matter !

I think it's the same with anything that ends up getting manufactured under license elsewhere.

It simply becomes a different product altogether, and often inferior to the genuine article.

The Stella brewed in Britain is obviously different to the stuff brewed in Belgium since the water is different. Why not try some of the delicious British beers?

Well gef, luckily I like a drop of the black stuff, and all the guinness sold here is the genuine imported brew from Dublin. ( they used to brew it in the UK but not any more)
Hi Carol Anne. Yes, you can't beat a drop of the original black stuff. Not tried it yet, but there is a new pub/brewery on Glasgow Green makiing its own German style beers.
