Before you gush on about his many high points and I agree he's a good artist...can I just say two words to you "Style Council"....what in the name of all that's good and proper was he thinking about with those fashions?

not just the Style Council sft, but what about the latter albums full of dull, plodding AOR?? I quite enjoyed Stanley Road, but then he went a wee bit Ocean Colour Scene which wasn't nice. He still looks stylish as fcuk though, I have to admit.

This is the man who swears that the bass in "Start" doesn't sound anything like The Beatles "Taxman" There is also an ELO track that I can't recall the title of that he "borrowed" for "Changing Man " I loved the Jam and some of his solo stuff but not the man himself.
