I can't understand why people perceive Stephen Fry to be smug. He is highly intelligent and has a lot of information stored in his internal database, but he is very generous with his knowledge. I've never met him, but he doesn't seem smug to me. Fern Britten and Vorders definitely smug, with very little reason it seems. My nomination would be Christine Bleakley.
