Police Uniforms?

How much do they cost?
Are they really necessary for sitting behind a desk?
Have not seen a policeman or woman in the flesh for over two years apart from a few police cars racing past and making lots of noise.
Did see a CSO on the bus about 18 months ago.

I've been thrown to the floor by armed police in Rotherham bus station when someone reported me carrying a firearm. That was rather embarrassing. I found the carbon copy of the 'searched under preventative measures' but unfortunately all the lettering was faded :( I used to show it to people because they just didn't believe me.

It was embarrassing because I had met a las earlier that evening and she said she really enjoyed herself then I got a text telling me she wasn't interested. Instead of going home I went to the closest pub and drank my own body weight in alcohol. I then walked an empty bus station on a Saturday night (they are never empty) and wondered why all the police cars were driving past (down the side of the bus lanes). I even said to myself "someone is in the sh**". Next minute I've got a police office hold a riffle at me whilst the other pushed me up against a timetable sign and pushed me to the floor. The embarrassing part was that I had a pocket full of condoms which they pulled out and just left next to me for everyone to see. I was even wearing a T-shirt that said "James Pond - Live and let fry".
There was a crowd of people watching me and because I was drunk I wanted some more attention so I asked them to slap the cuffs on me and pretend to arrest me. After asking twice, the officer cautioned me and said that if I asked again he would arrest me for drunken and disorderly.
The reason they came in force was because the person who reported me was an Ex Navy Seal and they accepted his version of events.
