I sent a parcel by Parcel Force on Monday using its express 48 service. It has not arrived. Is it normal to take longer for PF to deliver than their advertised times? I'm getting worried as there were some important items in the parcel.
Thanks for any answers.
I wasn't sure where to put this so just put it in CB, anyway.

parcelforce normally give you a receipt with a tracking number so you can go online and see where the parcel is, But i receive many parcels, and most are sent next day delivery, and sometimes they are a day late. I must add that parcelforce are very expensive compared to the other parcel carriers. I always use "parcels to go" far cheaper, and never let me down, and when a parcel seemed to go missing, they paid up the insured amount plus carriage, no problem.
The firm I contract for sometimes use ParcelForce to send stuff. They're usually quite good but they have had one or two unusual delays.

Collect+ is my preferred carrier (and well-reviewed by other ABers as well):

Thanks to you both. I wish I'd used a different carrier now. It was expensive, but somehow never thought of another way. I'm still hoping it will turn up soon.
At the end of December, I had terrible probs with PF. I tracked my parcel online and it was "out with courier for delivery" on three days in a row and at the end of each night was taken back to their depot and sent out again next day. When I complained I was told it was because I didn't go to collect it!! From where? The PO,? if so ,which one and on which day? Their depot at Gatwick. ? They were awful but still better than Yodel. Good luck cloverjo xx

Thanks, janbee. It is worrying me a lot, as it is stuff I sent to my son at uni, like his suit and smart shoes plus some important letters. I wish I'd chosen added insurance or another company.
PF has a terrible , but well deserved, reputation. I think, at one time, they were quite good and reliable but not nowadays.
