I saw a singer on an old episode of Jools Holland and have forgotten his name. Description:
-black American male
-very old, 70+ years old
-singing soulmusic with an unusually high falsetto voice, I actually thought it was a woman singing
-wearing a tuxedo, standing next to Jools Holland who was playing piano
-he looked quite small in size and I think his name is 'Little.....(something)'
I hope feelap got his answer but ever since I saw this thread I've been wracking my brains trying to remember a soul group from my youth that had a lead singer with a very high voice. It's been driving me crazy and after looking at loads of chart lists over the early 70s I've finally remembered it - The Stylistics, lead singer Russell Thompkins. Know it's not the answer but I can breathe a sigh of relief.
