They say they move around the airport, to not draw attention then tell or sell their story with photos.

And they cant manage on the pensions & benefits they receive.

Thanks so much for the link Baldric, it was a Berni/Rabb Inns had 3 restaurants five bars, and was very busy and popular with locals and tourist.

I have some photos but not them.

I had left 3 months before the fire, and apparently a fat fryer had been left on when they closed for the night.

The managers wife died and so did one of the children, live in staff and a fireman.

Bad things seemed to happen quite a lot there, as there had been 3 fires in the past, and when I was the manager a live in barmaid was murdered by her boyfriend about 5 yards from our accommodation.

Her name was Beryl Carr, and she was so popular with the customers and staff.

Have tried the Dover Express and the library, for the story but not much information.
