how can i speed up my laptop its running very slow, i have deleted unwanted files etc but still like a snail any ideas would me more than welcome

Add more RAM, that gets you going.

adding RAM doesnt always fix the problem.

first run a virus scan, this is good for removing anything which can slow down any PC.

then, do a Disc Defragment. you can find this in the accessories menu under system tools.

by doing these 2 easy things you should hopefully see some visible improvement, as they remove any unwanted processes and re-organise files to make it more efficient.

b4 any of that--has it just suddenly started running slow or has been a gradual slowing down--maybe as you have added more software--have you started using more memory intensive programs--video, audio editing programs--are you downloading more often and trying to runn other progs at the same time--a sudden slowdown could be a virus or malware--so check for that--a gradual for some of the reasons i have said could probably mean you need more ram--cheers
