Anyone Had A Faulty Dfs Sofa??
7 Answers
My friend bought and paid for 2 sofas. They arrived Friday, much darker colour than she picked out, and different colour stitching on the 2 sofas. By Monday, the button detail on the sofa and side cushions were popping off and some stitching come undone!
She called DFS and said not happy and wants them returned, and changed for something else. They have made an appointment for their chief mender type person to come next week and assess the sofas and repair. She is not happy and wants them replaced. They have said it is their decision what will be done.. if the fix it man can mend them, then he will and she will have to keep them. She is really not happy with them at all and wants them replaced with different sofas... does she have any rights for this? Many thanks.

Tell your friend to at least wait until the assessor has been and know the recommmendation. To send somone out is standard. We had someone come to look and had the entire suite removed and refunded without too much hassle.
