Hi I was just wondering what would happen next if my husband is out on bail charged with wounding GBH without intent. I heard that if it was serious then they would refuse bail? But he acted in self defence and fractured someone's nose

GBH without intent is section 20. This is only a possible prison sentence in the more serious cases. As he has been bailed I assume the case is not rated
as being in the possible prison sentence range. This could take months to come to court, in the meantime he will remain on bail.
and if he says it is self defence then he should hire a lawyer to plead for him. Depending on the facts it is quite possible that it will succeed.
