I must have fallen asleep during last week's episode cos I thought Janey had taken over as manager from Miss Temple-Savage, but this week, Miss T-S is back in charge, what happened?

Here goes : Janey and her crooked nephew opened a letter addressed to Temple-Savage offering her a job at a posh hotel in another part of Spain (can't remember where). She was offered the job on her experience, the hotel had never met her. Janey fancied the job herself so decided to go for it and pretend to be Temple-Savage and take her nephew with her. So, Temple-Savage got her job back at the Solana! She knows nothing about the job offer.

I liked it and I thought the tribute to the dead actor was quite moving.

The job offer was for a 5 star hotel in Luxor, Egypt.

janey got offered a job at the five star hotel 'The Luxor' in Benidorm, not Luxor Egypt.

Also last night Mateo left on a coach with the hairdresser boy (can't remember his name) so are there a few leaving the show. ?

Mateo caught the caught the bus straight back to Benidorm. He'll definitely be back

Last night was the last ever episode. In this last series they have been letting the characters leave the show after each episode.

A new series has been confirmed both by ITV and the writer.

So they are doing another series? Perhaps they will use some new characters. Joyce, Kevin and Lesley stayed in Benidorm.

Mateo will back, so will Kenneth, Jacqueline, Noreen, Jeff the Oracle, Clive, Tiger, Terri. No confirmation on Liam, a maybe on Melanie and some characters from earlier series will be back.

I don't know who Kevin is.

hc, I didn't know that Alastair McGowan did Donald's voice. He did it very well indeed. I thought it was Donald and they'd just put together a conversation from various things he'd said throughout the series !
