I am looking to buy a Hockney print on the internet. I can buy a print, or a lithograph print, the latter bring more expensive. Can anyone tell me what the basic differences are, and is it worth paying about 20 more for the lithograph print.

As you would expect it is all to do with the printing process. without going in to the technicalities Litho prints usually create bolder, more defined colours - something quite important in a Hockney print i would imagine.
If the print is quite large and expensive and is going on your living room wall it will be worth paying the extra 20 quid. If its a small cheap print for the toilet dont bother.
