Gas Installation

Where is the best place for me to start looking into having a gas supply made to my flat. We don't have it, but I know for a fact a someone else in the block has it. My electricity is supplied by Scottish Power, so do I see them about it, or should I try British Gas, or do I go straight to someone like Transco? Or would it be my factor? I know there is a chance that we won't be able to get it, or it could be extortionate, but I just want to see if it's possible. Thanks in advance.

I think you need to ask transco as the pipeline supplier for a quote.
