units
Units?
as in "tens and units"
Units just seemed too easy. Hence, my question mark.
Units it is
Decimals - Math is Fun www.mathsisfun.com/decimals.html Here is the number "forty-five and six-tenths" written as a decimal number: The decimal point goes between units and tenths
Unit (singular) is really what follows from the clue
dzug, the clue has 5 letters.
Think dzug is saying the way the clue is worded it infers a singular reponse ie Unit and not Units - don't think he was questioning the actual answer.
Yes the solution has 5 letters but can see what dzug means. However I think the answer is okay because if you take the number 5.6 for example the digit before the decimal point has a value of 5 units. The wording may have had to be quite clumsy to get it exactly right
Sorry Captain- yours wasn't there when I started
Good morning Capt. I agree
If it had said 'digits', the answer, 'units' would be wrong.
Units, but clue wording is iffy. Are we going for girosol or girasol 20a ?
Girasol
Thanks Danny
Think sunroot is a better answer which is why I've had to reprint the damn thing lol
Thanks, that certainly fits with the letters I have
