Karcher Window Vac

Just got myself one in the sales. I got the basic one without the pad and spray bottle. I'm assuming that I can wash the windows with a soap solution and then just hoover it off instead of buying the karcher wash solution. Anyone got one of these? Do you think that will be ok? TIA

Friends have one of these and they LOVE it. They use just normal gloopy solution and then the Vac just slurps it all up.

We've got one + extension pole etc. Wouldn't be without it. Brilliant for cleaning the shower cubicle after use and of course windows, bathroom tiles etc. Soap solution is fine.

W got the basic plus spray. You can just spray ordinary window cleaner on the glass and then use the cleaner to Hoover it off. Don't be worried at the colour of the water. The windows look fantastic. However the next day I noticed lots of stripes on the windows. I had to go over the glass with a dry cloth, then they were ok. In retrospect maybe I should have bought the pad to go with it.
