Itunes (Again)

I`ve been going through my CDs and collecting my favourite tracks before getting rid. When I have imported the tracks, I have used the default setting which is 'Import with..AAC encoder' I have just noticed there is an option to import with mp3 encoder. Anyway, it`s done now but I what I want to know is, if I want to burn a compilation CD of some of the tracks, will I be able to do that in mp3 given that they were imported with AAC?

No, car CD players all play normal CDs, some will play CDs containing mp3s, I doubt any play AAC CDs, however, whenever you burn a playlist in iTunes to CD it creates an audio CD so you'll only be able to fit 80 odd minutes of music per CD. To create a CD with mp3s you would need to burn it with (I assume) something like the one fender mentions or Roxio or a.n. other
