Lucky Strike cigarettes

Didnt know where to put this question, but does anyone know why we cannot buy Lucky strike cigarettes in England. You can buy them all over the world - including ireland - but not in England. Some one told be the other day it is because wont in every 1000 pack contains cannabis. Is this trus or were they pulling my leg?!!

You certainly can buy them in the UK - at least in Northern Ireland - both Luckies and Lucky Lights.

I very much doubt the validity of the cannabis theory.

And in case you are wondering, that is not where I got my username from!

Ive never found ANYWHERE in England that sells them though. Its ok through the summer coz I can get duty frees!!

I have a packet of Luckies in front of me. Bought them in the ESSO garage on the way to work. I also buy them from any one of four shops in my road.

I live in London (but not too central) so maybe there is more of a selection available. Where r u from floss85 ?

Midlands. Like I say the only place Ive foind them is in Ireland! Might have to make trips to london!

Kro Bar, Oxford Road, Manchester.  The vending machine sells nothing else. 

The story you tell is apparently how they got their name, but it won't be true now.  And any law that applies to England on that would apply to the rest of the UK too, and probably the Republic of Ireland too!

At my work today a woman was smoking Lucky Strikes, the health warning was in english, so i presume they weren't imported or anything.   I'm in Aberdeen btw.

i'm also a Lucky Strike chain smoker and could not find them in england, before. Now i order them from postal-cigs.com (hope its not an advertising) and i'm glad :)
