I'm off to bed in a minute but I know this is your time of night, so please could you help me?
I have a gorgeous watch but know very little about it.
I know it's from the 70s and is made by Vulcain.
I'm hoping you can help me further with date, value and rarity (I think it's quite rare).
Here are some pics.:

FrogNog, that's quite a nice looking woman's wrist watch made by a reputable company. The pictures are not that clear, so I can’t make out much detail. It is a Swiss made skeleton type watch (you can look into it and see its “ anatomy”). It has 9 jewels, that I can make out anyway. I can’t see a sweep second hand and am assuming that at the instant the photo...

FrogNog, I received this from Grovana/Vulcain in Switzerland: "Our Manufacture provides appraisals of early Vulcain designs to the general public and we accredit Mr
Antoine Simonin to be our independent expert. After examination of such pieces, our expert will be
able to determine the genuineness of your watch and can give you related Information.
If your watch is genuine, an official esfimation can be delivered. This estimation will cost CHF 60.00
inclusive of tax and payable in advance. On this can be added phone call expenses for foreign
communication and shipping costs.
The requested information for an estimation are :
. Watch dimensions (diameter, thickness)
. number on dial or case
. case materia! (gold, platinum, silver etc.
. case description (gold, silver, enamel etc.) and numerals (Roman, Arabic, Turkish etc.)
. watch functions: with or without alarm
. additional watch functions: small second, centre second, chronograph, phases of the moon,
calendar (day, date, month), power reserve etc.
. excellent photos of the case, dial and (if possible) movement
All those elements have to be sent to :

FrogNog, this is his reply: "Dear Sir,
your watch Vulcain is a interesting time keeper, acording to the style of the case I sugest that it was done between 1970 to 1982.
The squeletise mouvement is a industrial finish as they are some hand made and the others are machine made. For the value you will have to see with a dealer in vintage watches or a watch juwelery schop. Best regards
