I've Been Put On Prozac

Hi there I went to see my GP today and I have been put on prozac for depression I don't know how it will make me feel at first I know it takes a few weeks to kick in anyone on this or been on this

Probably 3-4 weeks and they might increase it a little. You might even feel worse for the first couple of weeks. Have they really only just put you on this? Nothing else before?

It has been linked to mood swings in some people. You should see your doctor if you feel this happening to you.
I have been on it.

Agree with Cloverjo. I was put on it years ago and I just got happier and happier until I was manic. A very pleasant experience but look out for this.

It may me feel spacy and out of control. Came off it as soon as I could.

Me... Very little side effects noted!

Been on since nov approx. mabye disturbed sleep which soon settled x
