Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

It is not a criticism to mention that the answer had already been posted. It is your clue - not mine. It is not my duty to search for you if you are too lazy to do so yourself. I was just pointing out that it had already been posted. You are being over-sensitve.

You are quite right, cheaton, not only has this clue been answered initially on Sunday but has appeared several times since under different headings. Are these people so idle that they cannot look back a few questions or just so arrogant they think it beneath them. Personally it grates with me when after every weekend clues are posted needlessly several times and filling the pages without any reason at all. You are not alone in detesting such people as keyboardix this has cropped up loads of times in the past. I have on accasions replied to a post, as you did, simply pointing out that it had recently been answered and I think this is being helpful in pointing in the right direction.

Thanks Busker - I thought my initial answer was reasonably polite and have seen lots of other people answer in the same way. If one isn't doing the crossword oneself, the answer doesn't always stick in the mind - but I know if I've seen it somewhere before! Thanks for your support in any case.....
