Apparently the incident caught on 'social media' wasn't, as some thought, a racist incident. The train was too full and the 'pusher' was actually doing the Frenchman a favour in not letting him board where he would have suffered buffeting and jostling.
That's the account of the NI Chelsea supporter, anyway.
Was it all just a storm in a teacup?

"Good evening Mr Commuter. I appreciate that this is a train you catch regularly, and this is your city, and indeed your country, in which I am a temporary guest. I see what you are saying here:///I suppose you could say he was an ex policeman because he wasnt much good at it ///. I can understand that, but as usual, I fail to see what the heck you are ranting about on the rest of your post.

He may have been an ex RUC officer because following the Patton police reforms many officers were offered loads of money to take early retirement. Some were then recruited into the PSNI.
never mind retro - situation normal
And he might have been ran as a bad 'un. And the only people who'd give him a job was the left-wing NGO he's at now.
