Absolutely Nil. It has been muted that our defence budget and other dept budgets will be less than the overseas aid budget by 2031.
If correct it is an indication of who this government has more concerns for.
Are they going to commit more money and legislation for a UK Border Agency that is fit for purpose? Don't think so.

we cannot control immigration until we get control of our borders back. The failure to control these figures is not down to the governement it is down to the fact that we do not have control of our destiny. Who's actually in "government" is largely irrelevant. Gromit is merely trying to blame the current government for the effects of half a century of him and his anti British friends selling us down the river to the tyranny of his beloved EU super state controlled by his anti British allies.

With regulations as they are I can’t see how anyone can pledge to control immigration from Europe, but I wonder if she’s including Europe in this figure?

This government cancelled the e-borders project which seems crackers to be honest.
A huge amount of investment is needed to improve the Border Agency - whatever it is called now. They have changed the name of it so many times but inefficiency and low morale have compounded the problems.
It's all very well announcing "immigration targets" but they are almost certainly doomed to failure.
