I quite like Ruth, hope she'll win. I think Ruth was right how she summed up both Sayed and Tuan last night - Sayed does have the passion, but I would say he was too difficult to control. Agree with SizzleSquid about Ansell. Forgot about Michelle - if she's on the losing team, she'll be out next. Looking forward to next week though, the task looks fun!
I'm actually a fan of Syed too, but I doubt he'll survive a day of interviews. The interviews were the undoing of Paul Torrisi - last year's Syed whatever he may claim to the contrary.
Paul (Tulip) seems to show signs of irritation when thing aren't going well. As he hasn't been in yet I'd like to see him in the boardroom.
Yes, Syed is a Grade-A moron 90% of the time but as Alan Sugar says, occasionally he has these flashes of genius. I cringed every time he mentioned his East End roots in order to sell a petrol can. I chuckled viciously when he thought a small railway flyover was Wandsworth Bridge. And on the latest show when AS accused him of panicing - "Yes you are, Syed. You're panicing right now!" I couldn't help but howl with laughter. Car crash tv at it's best.
But having said that, he had more nouse than Tuan, who couldn't see that potential house-buyers were merely jerking him around. Syed does seem to have an inbuilt flair for selling. Trouble is, he scores too highly on the t**t-o-meter as well.
bought hundreds of chickens that had to be thrown away for the pizza task without checking first,
lied to the only buyers he had all day in the car selling task with the showroom manager having to step in,
leched like a loon over the poor girl in the changing room in the clothes selling task,
turned up late when team leader selling those petrol cans yet had to be let off to keep the series watchable?
If it is, then I must have missed the 'moments of genius' but he is fun to watch.
