I watched this morning, and saw the idea of a shopping bag being sold in the newsagents on discharge from hospital. i.e milk, bread, cheese etc. What a good idea, whoever thought of this brainwave was quite clever. Wonder if they do it in my area, how would i find out?

Some hospitals give these items for free to patients when leaving hospital. Not in my area I must say.

But the idea of selling them is a fantastic idea, I know many a patient who would benefit from this service.
There are quite a few good ideas in that program (its a repeat) sadly I don't think that much was taken up by the NHS.

Yeah but say i wanted to take up the idea and go into hospitals as an independent seller, would that be allowed?. Of course i would need to get the necessary checks to be deemed safe, but other than that, what would be the problem?
Wouldn't it be more of a good idea to give the patients the bag of shopping on entering hospital knowing how bad the meals are, they would not starve then lol lol
A hospital does not offer the same type of food as does a fine-dining hotel. Neither does a fine-dining hotel offer the same type of medical treatment as does a hospital:)
