Flu Jabs - after affects?
13 Answers
I had just recovered from a cold/throat virus & finished my anti-biotics, then had a Flu jab a week ago. I ache all over now & the pains in my body woke me up off & on last night. Anyone else experienced the same symptoms after a Flu jab?

Thanx bobbobley. I glanced quickly at your answer & thought you'd written "a mate of mine 'died' recently" which made me do a double take! It's reassuring to know that others have experienced the same symptoms. I've been in agony all day, so hopefully it is due to the jab & not another dose of being confined to the settee again! Cheers.
Thanx rich., that's also put my mind at rest, as I've felt so unwell the last few days. My body felt as tho' it had been used as the England v Aussie rugby ball, but now that we've won, it's made me feel a bit better! (I'm female & don't usually follow rugby, but it's great for something positive to happen to our Country!) Cheers!
Smudge the flu jab takes 21 days to take effect also it is not effective against ALL strains of flu - I think they can only choose the three most prevalent strains and as the vaccine is made a year in advance, it's the most prevelant last year. I had the jab and then two weeks later caught what I think must be the strain Bobbobley was referring to!
