(Army?) Mesh Insoles
6 Answers
When my Dad was in the army he 'purloined' several pairs of the above.
I assume they were army surplus, either way he got them in the early 70s.
To me they seemed to be the most logical way to get air under the soles of the feet with shoes on. I remember they were made of (what looked like) several layers of interwoven heavy duty fishing line formed into an inner shoe shape.
So......
Does anyone know if a) I'm talking sense and b) where in jumping jehoshaphat can I get them?
TIA
