Ratter15 if you like moist, then St Delia's Creole Christmas cake is for you, alcohol held together by a bit of cake and fruit. Far too good to have just once a year, I've even started to like a slab of cheese with it too, OH is a Tyke. Other than that, a good carrot cake takes some beating. What I can't stand are those sickly cupcakes!
Don't know if it they are classed as cakes but I love chocolate fondants and brownies.
Forgot to say......both very MOIST!!
My Mother's Christmas cake, it was delicious, wish I could make it just like she could. (Sigh )
A nice double choc or blueberry muffin.
Carrot cake, closely followed by date and walnut, and chocolate and beetroot cake.
I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I wouldn't say no to carrot cake if it was put in front of me. A colleague often brings in cakes into work, and I tucked into a tasty minty chocolate cake last week.
I'm going to have to make a Victoria Sponge now:-(
Can't beat lemon drizzle in my opinion, followed closely by cherry cake !
A really good moist coffee cake. Hard to find really. Mostly, they're dry and powdery. Hate fruit cake or anything with cherries in it.
All of them. I don't think there's any such thing as a horrid cake :)
Stop being a misery, Baldric and tell us what cake you like moist.
Oops most!
Any cake some one else bakes and serves, and cleans up afterwards of course.
