it's on the front of several of the new issue TV sat mags today! whoo hoo! Anyone tried the google earth thing with the numbers yet?

Placing the "magic numbers" 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42 into Google Earth (using the form 4.815, 162.342) transports you to a spot approximately 50 miles from a tiny island in the south Pacific.

To be honest, if the writers had intended this somewhat tenuous coincidence they could have selected numbers which placed you on the island rather than floundering in a vast body of water.

Maybe cos our clocks have gone forward and theirs havn't has something to do with that.

dunno if this means anything or whether it is blatantly obvious but when you add all the nubers together you get 108, hence the 108 mins on the countdown clock
