After DaisyNonna mentioned this a few weeks ago I investigated it. Found there was one here in the Forest. I logged on to it but found all the people had not posted for a long time. But I posted on it anyway. Eventually 5 people have joined and we are meeting for a coffee on Wednesday evening. So a whole new thing may be at my fingertips. So thanks to DN.

Ahhh...thanks, Caran...and there will be those saying......Wouldn't you think those gypsies could have gone a bit further and saved us from her....☻

We have had a problem with gypsies here lately. The used a big digger to remove large boulders blocking off a site. They camped there for about three months before eviction. They have moved to two separate sites nearby. The rubbish they leave is unbelievable.

Isn't it amazing how a thread evolves. Streetlife, mothers,gypsies, amazing.

Caran I joined my local Streetlife after Chief Stout died, its been a lifesaver I go to ladies meet ups for lunch & a chat, there are pub meet ups, we have formed a "pie & mash" club, a monthly quiz night at a local Indian restaurant, coffee mornings at mine & others home, some kind chap came and grouted my bath from Streetlife, people ask our Streetlife for recommendations for workmen i.e.plumbers, decorators etc, we have a good moan on there about the local council etc and last week 6 of us went on a coach trip to Brighton for the princely sum of £5 through a Streetlife contact. You can join in as little or as much as you want.
