I stumbled across this yesterday by mistake. The fact that the docu is few years old adds to the mystique. I consider myself as an up-to-date kind of guy.

Worth watching if you love conspiracy theories and new (UK)world order.

Whaddya think? Have googled Brian Gellish and he seems to tip between Shill and visionary. Excellent stuff!

Haven't got time to watch the video now. And I'm not one for conspiracy theories but I do believe there's an organisation called Common Purpose. And not a good organisation either. To me, it's the only thing that can explain the fragmentation of our society. Politicians etc. couldn't keep making such apparently terrible decisions by accident.

For Heaven's Sake - I'VE been on a Common Purpose course - and anyone less likely to be a tool of mad rightwing new world order conspiracists is hard to imagine.

Who said anything about right-wing? Why did you go on a course? How much did you pay? What did you do?

It was paid for by my employer (a national charity) - there's a sliding scale of fees depending on 'ability to pay' - charities get places for buttons, big business pays most, others are somewhere inbetween.

It was a series of one day events looking at aspects of life in my local city (Coventry) and how the various people on the course could interact to improve things - education, health, local government, industry (small and large), social welfare, local press, culture etc etc.

It was a wonderful chance to work with new people (often ones who you'd never otherwise meet) to take some small steps to influence the life of the city for the better - yes we made some useful 'networking' contacts for possible future use, but the whole thing was an exercise in Civic Pride and altruistic effort - not some mad 'plot to take over'.

Indeed - sorry I missed your meaning.

It was very intersting how it challenged perceptions and broke down barriers.

There were a couple of Tory councillors on the course who I came to value and respect as honest men (albeit occasionally misguided) doing their level best to work for the community.There was one Labour councillor who was a completely bigoted waste of space - dreadful woman. Didn't necessarily change my overall world view, but did make me a bit more flexible at local level.
