So if you agree to 'come in for a chat' I anticipate this will actually mean you could be subjected to pressure and persuasion to agree that there's really no problem.
In your position I would only attend such a meeting with a legal representative with me, and with a recording device running. This could be too expensive to set up for you, in which case, consider what you might gain or lose from such a meeting, before you decide whether to attend or not.
It's understandable that you're angry, but sadly the world we inhabot seems to only reward those people who are prepared to get r-sey to protect their rights.
As for the papers, I would be very very cautious, as we are just a means of increasing sales. They won't give a hoot what they suggest about you, or what happens to you afterwards. So think carefully about what you'd want from newspaper covergae before agreeing to it.
