what should I do when I've applied four times for my medicaid twice through the healthcare market place only because I was told over the phone I couldn't apply again through my local office after being denied back in October, so I applied through the healthcare market place on December 5, 2014 waited a month again and still didn't receive my medicaid or any information regarding my application. I updated my information on January 5, 2015 since I got married and still have not received my medicaid and I'm already 6 months pregnant. I called last friday they told me that I was approved to go in with my ID to get my insurance card number but when I show up to my local office I was told I was never approved for medicaid and that my application for medicaid was still pending.

As Eddie says, this is a UK-based site, so there won't be many people around here who can answer your question. However, in an effort to still be helpful, I'll suggest a couple of US-based sites where you might get an answer: http://www.answerbag.com/ https://answers.yahoo.com/

Come to England, you will be looked after, we are civilised here.

not that civilised not educated actually - at my outpatients clinic thei morning ( I was the patient and not the doctor ) I was asked if I had been resident in the UK for a year. and THAT was purely a charging question.

They were asking everyone ( of course it is England ) even tho the outpatients area was a heaving sea of anglos
.

I dont think any of us can give useful or valid advice on medicaid applications to be honest, Jessi
Ignore the nit picking anti British above PP. What I'm saying is that if you are having a baby in UK you phone an ambulance and they take you to hospital where you and your baby will be given every possible care.
from the charging regulations 2011, 2012

"The current regulations outline for which services the NHS can and cannot charge and who is exempt from charging. Currently only care given in hospital settings (excl. A&E) is chargeable. "

3T the NHS can charge migrants and visitors - such as Jessi - I know this because I used to work in the NHS

Still no nearer on medicaid Jessi - sorry about that
all I'm saying is they'll deal with it and ask questions later.
