All this "story" does is demonstrate the shallowness of the public's thinking about politics. Most of the comments in this thread are depressingly pathetic. The way the Telegraph reports it, you'd think they'd found emaciated slaves hidden away in the Millibands' home. EM is damned either way. He'd be slammed by the Tory press, and the whingers in this thread, if we'd seen both kitchens, either kitchen, a utility room, extra airing cupboard space - it really wouldn't matter.
What gets me is that people bang on about Labour's attempts at spin doctoring as though NO OTHER PARTY ever uses it. I'm not defending it, or them, but to use it as a stick to hit Labour with conveniently glosses over that the Tories practically invented spin.
I'm not even a Labour supporter, by the way, before the usual bottom-feeders come in with their reflex comments about lefties. I just find it dispiriting to see stuff like the above picked over in this way.
